Selection criteria of participating universities for CSC

Selection Criteria
1.      Selection criteria depends upon the university policy.
2.      Every university has its own policy to give scholarship based on subject, programs (MS, PhD), and country quota etc.
3.      Firstly, only applications that pass the university policy criteria are short-listed regardless of other particulars. (~60% application are-rejected at this stage)
4.       Secondly, these applications are evaluated by panel within international students roughly based on the Academic Record, health, age etc..
5.      Short-listed application in step#4 are sent to the concerned departments.
6.      Departmental selection panel evaluate applications in details based on their Research Plan, Field of Research etc..
7.      A list of candidates short-listed by departments has been sent back to international student office for final selection.

CGPA is important but not the only parameter for selection
there are other parameters which are more important than CGPA. like research proposal and overall CV. if you have any papers that are published in any national or international journals that will increase your chances many folds.
